...for a long time we have wanted to create a quilt that can be changed by the people looking at it! It took us some months to come up with a concept that might achieve the desired effect and this is the result: A huge Ninepatch “block” made up of nine small, framed quilts whose (machine quilted) quilt lines seem to travel across the space between the individual blocks... Framing a quilt on a stretcher is surprisingly easy. It looks very neat and is suitable for any type of quilt. As long as you can find the appropriate sizes of stretcher, you are not limited in the format of your framed quilt. Anything goes: small, large, square, rectangle, landscape or portrait...
