The name of my miniature quilt is "Sheep".

In 2010 during a trip through Scotland, we saw yellow sheep twice. What was that? I asked a guy in a museum whether they now breed multicoloured sheep in Scotland so that wool need not be dyed anymore. He only laughed and told me that the sheep had been sick and had to be bathed. I thought this sounded plausible since the sheep where I live have to be bathed once a year, too. I have been thinking about this ever since.

When I saw the picture with the sheep in 50pictures, I knew that I had to go on spinning this story - what would be the situation if my surmise had been correct. The result is my picture with the multicoloured sheep and the balls of yarn.

In the meantime I have done some research. Apparently sheep are dyed yellow and orange so that fewer sheep are stolen. Whether this is the correct answer, I don't know, but it would be logical, too.
