Please note that we are publishing all entries for our archiTEXTure challenge* anonymously. We are doing this because all these pieces will be assessed by a team of international quilt judges. The professional ethics of judging quilts require that the maker remain anonymous as not to influence the judging by existing friendships or - hopefully rarely - animosities.

What the maker says about her piece:

Container with waste of any kind always make me think what you could do with its intents. This photo immediately reminded me of my larger and smaller pieces of textile waste which hadn't found their way to the waste bin yet. I rearranged them - as they came - and sewed over them. As background I used one of these felt mats made for sound insulation. Mulden mit Abfällen jeglicher Art lassen mich immer nachdenken, was daraus noch zu  gebrauchen wäre. It would be great if mankind produced less waste.
