Behind The Scenes

Behind the Scenes gives you just that: a peek behind the curtains of Quilt around the World. You will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of the making of Quilt around the World, our smaller and bigger successes and what in a film would be called an 'outtake'. You will, for example, be able to watch Johann sewing his first quilt block or Jutta getting desperate in the midst of piles and piles of scraps that refuse to get organized.

A New Toy

Quilters need new toys from time to time. Life can be grey and dreary sometimes and toys invariably lift moods and improve the general spirit. If a toy does all this and moreover speeds up a process which can be otherwise tedious and time consuming, so much the better. Depending on the price tag attached to such a toy, a decision to acquire it can be taken rather quickly or can make necessary some serious debates with your personal bank balance. While these debates lasts, a quilter can still hover over catalogues, web sites or displays in shops...

We have been toying with the idea for months. And now we will put it into action: We will hold our own very personal championships! The “we” in this case being only Jutta because Johann is more interested in designing quilts than in producing minute pieces of fabric. The advantage of having a one woman show in this case is obvious however: We already know who the winner will be... ;-)... (10 March 2011)
