IBS2 Travelling Exhibition: AntArctica in Erding

IBS2 Travelling Exhibition: AntArctica in Erding

On 13 September 2015, the last Sunday before school resumed in Bavaria, the IBS2 quilts AND all 23 Water for the World panels were shown at the Patchwork- and Textilmarkt in Erding.

Erding is a beautiful market town in the Greater Munich area. Actually Munich airport is much closer to Erding than to the city of Munich which means that the Patchwork- and Textilmarkt has every potential of becoming an international quilting destination! ;-) As it is, this year's autumn edition was hugely international with IBS2 quilts and blocks from all corners of the world.

Before you look at the pictures below, we would like to invite you to watch a short video and a peek behind the Quilt around the World curtains:

Then find the videos and click the International Block Swap video. It works without logging on to Facebook as well... Of course we would love you to like us! :-)

A big thank you goes to the entire team of Stadthalle Erding and especially to Brigitte who again found us the perfect exhibition space!

Happily, we were able to display almost all IBS2 quilts which was only possible because we used EVERY nook and cranny to hang them, including curtain rails, hooks for cloakroom signs etc.!
