Mitred Binding

Mitred binding is certainly the most sophisticated and most elegant method to bind a quilt. It is the method you would use if the binding changes fabric at the corners as in the Slanting Triangles quilt. It is also said to be difficult to sew. We don’t agree. If you work both carefully and accurately, we are pretty sure that even quilters who are not that experienced will manage mitred bindings with ease and tranquillity... (9 February 2011)
