Where do you come from - 5th Sewing Session

Very early in the sewing process for Where do you come from?, the team decided that the minimum number of people should be three during the sewing sessions. It's not that the work can't be done by two people or even just by one person. We just think that it is better to discuss more opinions for the sometimes not that easy decisions which fabric to chose to create a suitable bridge between the blocks and colour areas.

As Anke and Derry were prevented from attending by previous committments, Johann and Jutta only made some preliminary suggestions by pinning fabrics onto the design wall. We'll see next week (Monday, 26 October 2015) whether there will be even better choices to bring all the "Where do you come from?" blocks together in this extraordinary quilt.

And here you can see the beginnings of panel 3:

The blocks to the left belong to the 2nd panel. The 3rd panel brings together blocks from France, Germany, Bulgaria, Spain, the UK, the USA and Chile.
